✔ The journey from Hurghada to Luxor is around 5 hours by minibus. It is recommended that you bring a book or prepare some music with you for the long ride. ✔ If you plan to stay in Luxor and don't come back to Hurghada, you need to choose the option (Shared Group with Entry Fees, One Way Transfer to Luxor) ✔ Please provide your hotel room number as this is required by the Egyptian government regarding the COVID-19 protocol. If you do not yet know please put N/A and let the local partner know via email or WhatsApp once you do. ✔ If you prefer to stay in Luxor, you must inform at least 24 hours in advance and get confirmation from your provider.
Western gauges view the Egyptian women's clothing standard as traditionalist and are aware of this standard. For males, it's generally fine to wear regular clothing such as pants and shirts or T-shirts; however in Cairo, it is not satisfactory for short short dresses/troop-top sleeveless tops.
National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is found in Fustat, the primary Cairo after the Arab Islamic conquest, so it had been a logical choice for the museum site, because the area is found at the crossroads of Egyptian history, and it includes many Coptic churches and monasteries, the Coptic Museum, the Ibn Ezra Temple, and therefore the first mosque in Egypt, the Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque. Views of the Citadel of Saladin are also available from the museum's outdoor areas, which emphasize their unique location overlooking Lake Ain El-Sira, Cairo's last natural lake.
